No. San Diego Nanny Agency provides referral and placement services and is not the employer of a nanny hired directly by a family. The family and nanny establish their employment relationship directly. Families are responsible for applicable employer obligations, including wages, payroll taxes, workers' compensation, scheduling, and compliance with employment laws. Our agency does not supervise or direct the nanny's work after hire and does not assume responsibility for post-placement conduct to the extent permitted by law. Placement fees are one-time fees for our referral and placement services, due upon hire under the signed placement agreement. Nothing in this explanation limits responsibilities or liability that cannot legally be disclaimed.
